A discussion titled ‘Humanism and artificial intelligence’ was held on Friday, 20th December at 5pm CET at the Centre for the Promotion of Science in Belgrade. Participants included Dr Jovan Kurbalija, director of DiploFoundation, Dr Biljana Scott, senior lecturer at DiploFoundation and an associate of the Chinese Institute at Oxford University, Ms Katharina Höne, senior lecturer at DiploFoundation, and Mr Ljupco Jivan Gjorgjinski, chair of the Group of Governmental Experts on Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems.
As top experts in their respective fields, the panellists shared their views on the questions of ethics, linguistics, legislation, and accountability regarding AI. During the panel, participants gave an introduction to humAInism, an interdisciplinary project that aims to bridge discussions on the future of humanity and AI. The panel was open to the public.
