On 21 October 2021, Diplo and the Geneva Internet Platform participated in the 151st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). Sorina Teleanu, Diplo’s Director of Knowledge, moderated a session titled ‘Parliaments taking action on AI: Learning from global experience’.
The session was structured around two main questions:
- What actions are parliaments taking on AI, and what lessons have been learned so far?
- What questions can parliamentarians ask their governments about AI?
