On 8 July 2026, Diplo and the Geneva Internet Platform welcomed an Australian youth delegation for a discussion on digital AI governance and diplomacy.

The delegation included participants in a policy fellowship programme run by Global Voices, an Australian youth-led not-for-profit organisation aiming to upskill young Australians in policy making.
