There is very little transparency when it comes to AI models; we know little to nothing about, for instance, the data fed into the model or the weights that are given to parameters.

Transparency in AI models is crucial for several reasons, and systematic policies and procedures are needed to ensure transparency throughout the AI development and deployment process. Transparency is a precondition for evaluation and, ultimately, accountability in the digital realm.
