The upcoming AI for Good Global Summit to be held from 4-8 May in Geneva will explore how AI applications can help in the realisation of 2030 Agenda and sustainable development goals (SDGs). Speaking on the subject, the ITU Secretary-General Huolin Zhao note that we are seeing ‘renewed resolve within the AI for Good community to create the conditions necessary to make this leap and accelerate progress towards the achievement of the SDGs’. 

The Summit is expected to provide more input on developments of AI in the field of climate, environment, elimination of hunger, gender equality as well as protection of access to trustworthy information.
